Language lives by being used, by conversation - dialogues with teachers, with fellow-students. A dialogue with canned sound, a wave-file for example, can’t replace a real conversation.
Thus the quality of a language lab is basically determined by the live-functions offered for listening, speaking, discussing, combined with live seeing or reading, writing and designing.
We are the forerunner in using the streaming-technology for all kinds of communication and the structure of our language labs is completely digital.
